Still being worked on and it's actually making progress and in testing phase. They screwed up the development pipeline in the beginning and only sorted it out a couple years ago

Fun fact. You can play through the entirety of Timesplitters 2 in Homefront: Revolution. No saving but everything is unlocked. It's a bit glitchy though.

As of February they've come a long way. The project more or less finally got its legs in October 2018 and now has a full development team. The amount of progress they show in between videos is astounding.

I always liked the campaigns in these games, especially 2. They're super charming, not too story heavy, and have really diverse settings

I was so pissed off that they never made Future Perfect backwards compatible on the 360/Xbone. And Timesplitters 2 I played on the Gamecube, and I knew there was never any returning to that. I don't know how I managed to play that with a Gamecube controller.

So I do hope this is the real deal. And I guess I have to take a look at Rewind. I had thought the project was kind of stalled or in limbo last time I checked. But looks like I was wrong about that.

I hope it's like Timesplitters 2. I liked Future Perfect's campaign the most, but taking control of different characters and jumping around the timeline was certainly a more unique approach.

Ideally, the campaign would take the best parts out of each. The humor of FP would certainly be a welcome addition to the body hopping element.

I definitely hope it has the humor and better storytelling of FP. I don't really remember the characters or story in TS2 at all, it was all kind of forgettable.

There really wasn't a story apart from Cortez trying to get the crystals while fulfilling the objectives of the people whose bodies he was placed in.
