EnglishBullDoug 05/21/21 2:05:47 PM #1:	I went into it expecting to be disappointed after the third season and I was wrong! Lots of cool stuff in this season. Alucard in full SotN gear and giving us action scenes like you'd imagine from playing the video games. Nice to see after watching him hit rock bottom last season. Lots of awesome cameos from video game enemies like Flea Men and that elevator monster from the DS games. I even thought the necromancer with skeletons was kind of a nod to Shaft given how he was dressed. GOAT "final boss" fight. (OK, not as good as the Dracula fight. But great in its own way.) Isaac was a total badass from finally killing that stupid *** Carmilla to his philosophical discussions with the Fly Man. If you're snoozing on it cause season 3 sucked, give it a chance! I just felt like Sypha and Trevor's whole story was weak, like some Hercules and Xena nonsense where they didn't even fight a legit threat. They should have at least thrown in a legit CV boss at the end. The "twist" with the Judge was stupid and unnecessary. Just seemed like shock cynicism thrown into the story that served no real purpose. I don't want to talk about what happened with Alucard. He's supposed to die and come back over and over again. I understand how the franchise works. That doesn't mean that you should kill him off halfway through your show.
