There's a guy with my name that lives in the US that also has an extremely similar email to mine (in fact I know exactly what it is because of how Google treats "." in email addresses).

Unfortunately he's one of those alt-right batshit insane "Christians" America loves to produce.

To be fair, there's only about 86 people in the world that share my last name, and about 42 live in the United States. Also, I did what you mentioned in the topic, albeit a few months ago (I deactivated Facebook in February).

I just did a Google search for my first and last name, with quotes, and there was a Facebook listing with a few people sharing my name. Most other results from Google are dead profiles of mine or stuff from my high school / town. Happy?

I've got an unusual last name, and uncommon first name. I've tried this before, and in my time checking(admittedly not much time spent) I found only one other guy with the name. He's apparently a camera man on some TV commercials and low budget films. Good on you, guy.

discounting middle names, i'm the fifth in a row. it fucking sucks. don't really care about the other randoms, though. if anything, the noise makes it harder for people to stalk me.

the name that was given to me at birth isnt something i identify with anymore, and my chosen name is hopefully unique enough that i wouldnt share it with too many people, especially considering my chosen last name comes from a cartoon character

I have I'd say average, but not super common, names. But still... I was visiting a nearby friend and looking over the names of people in his building while waiting in the lobby... and someone had my exact name there!

Slightly mad I have a doppelganger so nearby. Peeved even.

Oh yeah, and on googling my name the biggest hit is with some guy who is a dancer of some sort. Pretty cool.
