Logically speaking the kid is makes more sense...but I genuinely love my dog. I'd obviously try to save the kid after, but I'd assume in this situation that a hallway collapses or something after I grab my pet. I'm not going to have time to rationally weigh the pros and cons of human life vs animal life.
