I did and he Dekunda'd it almost immediately. And when I sukunda'd his agility to a neutral state, he just Red Capote'd again and got max agility

lmao, yeah. Nocturne was a trip, I basically had to blast through the last quarter of the game before I got too into Persona 5. It's really incredible how well the Nocturne demon designs translates into Persona 5's style.

Only complaint I have is that I got the worst ending lmao, didn't even get to fight Magutsuhi or whatever.

But yeah, as someone whose only stat debuff in any RPG is the punch debuff that turns an enemy's HP from 100 to zero - you need to buff your defense and attack, and lower his defense and attack. And you need to keep doing it. Buffs and debuffs are the name of the game, you need them.

I guess I'll try buffing myself instead of debuffing him. My only problem is that demons with buffs have a pitiful amount of MP >_>

Sukunda him to +1. He won't use the capote unless you bring him all the way to neutral

Get and ingest the Hifumi Magatama.
Get Ame-no-Uzume, who Nulls Force and gets Media right off the bat.
Get Nozuchi, who drains Force.
Have someone who can use Rakukaja and/or Sukukaja.
Make sure the fourth Demon you have isn't weak to Force.

That way, you can disrupt his turns when he uses Mazan. And the -Kaja skills will help when he starts using Andalucia.

I can't remember which Magatama has it, but getting fog breath really helped when I was going through it, and Uzume has a media which helps, just make sure none of your demons/you are week to force.

Recruit that hairy elephant trunk guy in the sewers and get that magatama that nulls wind.
and dont fully debuff him or he will just use his super buff again, but if you leave him at +1 then the ai wont think to use buffs anymore. A good general rule is that you should never use a buff or debuff to its max +4 otherwise the enemy will nullify it.

The Ice magatama gives fog breath at lvl 21, which is way too much grinding. 18 with Uzume, Nozuchi, and a demon not weak to force that can use tarunda or rakukaja is good enough.

Good. I just Raku and Suku'd myself 4x and sukunda'd 3 times and it wasn't too bad >_> Didn't even have Uzume in the party either lol
