Marvel gives a press release in which they promise the fans that they have taken careful consideration of all talent that auditioned for the role. Marvel made the decision to move forward with recasting to honor the fans, and held an audition. After a very rigorous competitive casting audition Matthew McConaughey has won the part. During this public press release, the director and all producers are present and implore the fan base that they were all simultaneously moved to tears by Matthew's performance and that they needed to choose the best man for the job. Matthew assured the fans that he intends on giving the part his all, taking it as seriously as possible and that he will honor the fan base, and the culture behind the movie. He also donates 14 million dollars to various charitable organizations that align with the movie at the close of the press release.
