Something that could be true and was always possible and had real scientific evidence to support it was banned as "debunked" and "known to be false", and that doesn't bother you at all?

And what they do in these labs as I understand it is fuck around with these viruses doing "gain of function research" in which they intentionally mutate the virus to study it so that they in theory would know how to better treat it if something like it came up in nature. The evidence and reasonable people were always taking about a lab leak and not claiming it was nefariously released or manufactured and released with intent. Just that China's shoddy safety standards caused a virus contained in the lab to spread to the general public.

These people and claims up until about 2 seconds ago were "crackpot" and "known to be false" and banned from social media for spreading "misinformation".

Doesn't that bug you the slightest bit? Or are you really *shrug* NBD about this?

I think your definition of real scientific evidence differs from mine.

my understanding is that although there is a possibility the virus leaked from a lab, there is no evidence to suggest it somehow originated in a lab. Even then, the lab thing has limited evidence to support it and at this point changes almost nothing anyway.

Casual reminder that "came from a lab" does not in any way mean "engineered from a lab" and there is literally no indication whatsoever that it was genetically engineered, nor is it really even feasible to suggest.

It's completely reasonable to assume that this was a disease studied in a lab, got researchers sick, and that the Chinese government tried to cover it up. That's what we actually suspected from the very beginning. But that's not what trumpers think "came from a lab" means.

They think it means Fauci and Bill Gates paid to design a virus in a lab to force people to get vaccines in order to cull the global population through death and infertility.
