Game could've used some more time in the oven if you ask me.

What we got was fine but felt very limited. I get that Obsidian isn't massive and doesn't exactly have what you'd call massive budgets or a massive team but still, for something as hyped as it was, it just felt like it delivered a Medium size pizza when we were asking for an XL.

It got a PS5 patch, so yes I am seeing it all in 60fps

I like the design, so far the banter seems kinda cringey

but the gun action is very fun

To be fair, they said numerous times it was a lesser project. People just hyped it up as "The Skyrim/Fallout killer" and expected far than was ever promised.

Played it once, did everything without realising, played again, realised there's not much more to it, got sad.

It's pretty great, there just isn't enough of it. Not even close to enough.

Worth replaying just to do a low intelligence run, though.

my friend beat it and said theres a point where the game takes off but i guess i never hit that point because i quit and never went back

If it had been more focused and/or less open world, it might have felt like a better game. As is, it just feels like it failed to excel at anything in particular.

Ultimately how I felt. I had a bunch of things in my journal thing, did all that, moved on, acquired some more things to do, did those then realized i was at the end of the game lol >_>

Oh for sure. It definitely needed more focus and time, but it is still a game I enjoyed in the end.

I was on the fence about it a few times but eventually decided to wait until all of the DLC is out

I was looking forward to it. But, after it came out, the more I heard about it, the less I wanted to play it. And right now, I have literally no desire to play any games, so I don't know if I'll ever play it.

It was fine, like a 5 out of 10

Only played a few hours of it and was bored to tears. Dated mechanics and gameplay, forgettable characters, boring plot/quests/towns. Maybe it gets better as it goes on, but making it off the first planet and barely exploring the second was all I could take, and I love first person shooters and RPGs. The game felt like it released a decade too late.
