Square took that spot already. People say DLC is one of the worst thing ever created. Square did that x10 instead of releasing a full game they're selling it in parts instead. Activision sold MW2 with no multiplayer and people have them shit for it but for Square they bought the game and are happily being exploided and expect Square to keep selling them parts of a game at full price without saying a word.

Selling games by parts is the new thing now. Kojima started the trend but it stopped and now Square is continuing it. Expect more companies to follow this idea.

Thats no good nomura, i knew he was the reason why square being pump final fantasy every 10 years. And who ask for kingdom hearts spin off games anyways.

A Poke'mon game where you can actually catch them all sounds like a wonderful experience.

Game Freak seemed to just want to see how much game they could cram into a single cartridge.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo was behind the decision of selling two carts.

World of Warcraft. You have to buy the game again every month to keep playing.

I don't know any who bought both versions of any Pokemon game. Not saying they don't exist, but I don't think that was what Nintendo/Gamefreak was going for.

I think they just tried to "monetize friendships". Like: Instead of friends game sharing, they made each friend by a copy. Or if someone had a friend who wasn't into gaming, you would try to persuade him/her to help you out with getting a team work going.

That's what happened in my area, at least. No one bought both games.

The original idea was to only get people (kids) to buy only one and trade for the remaining Pokmon with their friends
People started buying both and then GF making games to cater to that market around gen 3
It's like penicillin, happened by accident

Phantom Pain came whole, and any DLC that came with it was not in any way a "peice of the game". They were all cosmetic; never did they release a new mission. That point is less valid than R6 Seige and their new characters.

So they released a demo (much like MGS VR Missions) and its "a part of the game"?

I get the anger here, but they were legit trying to recoup the cost if the game so they could finish it because KONAMI are stickers that wanna stick to slot machines.

I know a couple of my friends (yes grown ass men in their 30's) who always buy both versions of the game and yes they're also known as people with terrible spending habits. It's an inside joke with my friends on why they aren't married, as mean my friends are.
