Has CE ever had their stuff stolen?

This has never happened to me. Then again, I usually always use Amazon locker or some other service.

No one ever took an Amazon package, but I had two different electronics orders go missing from the same FedEx facility. And twice I've had someone steal an envelope/card.

My carrier is my ex girlfriend >_> I tell her if I have a package that I care about losing and she just writes it up. I usually just stop by on my way to my own route and toss the shit inside tho, since it lines up that shes done my address around 30 minutes before I can leave the post office.

break-in to a house yes.

someone managed to steal a really old bible in a suitcase and wooden cabinets. knew the guy that took it too but my grandfather didn't want to pursue charges. i'm fortunate i managed to get my stuff out before that incident (would've lost game systems and games).

If you find a thief on your property with a broken leg, are you obligated to call the hospital?

I feel like they wouldn't learn their lesson if you did...

I would take my package back, go inside, and call the police.

Then I'd sit there and not help them until the police arrive.

If this is America, there's nothing "free" about the healthcare.

But regardless, she still experienced a broke leg and she was caught failing to steal a package live.

You shouldnt be obligated to help someone but you should be obligated to call emergency services if someones in trouble

and of course, anyone who doesnt help in a life threatening situation is of course an evil PoS unless they have to risk their own life to do so

in cases like this where some thief breaks their leg, they deserve what they got but you should at least call 911

Haven't had a package stolen but I have had stuff stolen. Once from a storage unit by the owner, it was mostly movies. Another time I had a DS with dragon quest monsters in it stolen by my cousins friend when I stayed the night. Also had a copy of super Mario 64 and a couple dvds stolen by my sisters friend who wanted to borrow them.

That said, I never let anyone borrow stuff unless it's something I don't care is lost and I don't take anything of value when staying at an others place for the night.

Why American couriers even leave parcels on the porch? Here in uk they drop a card and tell you to collect it at the depot. If the depot is far, then they attempt to deliver again but they never left any parcel outside my front door before.

They run out of room very fast, we are not collecting customs fees at the door during the pandemic, everything has to be paid before it goes on road. Space became an issue a few months in

They already have that in most Metropolitan areas. Theres also additional depots for certain couriers, like, UPS has a deal with Advanced Auto Parts in my town where you can have them drop off your parcel at that store and pick it up at any time the store is open which is until like 10pm here.

I'd estimate that 70% of the parcels I deliver are from Amazon, but my mail route consists of two stops with about 78 NBUs (16 addresses per), each NBU has two parcel lockers, and we have around 60 additional free standing lockers on top of that. So for the part everything is secured; however, we provide home delivery within a half mile of the delivery zone, so if a parcel doesnt fit in a locker it gets left at the door unless it requires a signature or has additional postage due. Anything too large that is destined for an address outside of the delivery zone never even leaves the post office.

She slipped on grass on a rainy day. There's nothing a homeowner could have done to prevent this. If she sues, it would be dismissed. Oh and the accomplice still took the packages at the end of the day.
