For the most part, the official site staff is hands-off with how they enforce it and there is trust that they will do it without our supervision. When a leader is posting the offensive content themselves let alone refusing to remove content from other posters, that tells me that it's clear they don't respect that stipulation in any fashion. On top of that, Tails has an established history of pulling shady crap like this. It's no secret that tails was incredibly phobic to a lot of communities and I guess this month being pride month was too much for him to not run his mouth. For a community leader to blatantly screw around with a community board in that manner after being punished in the past for it, I will suspend as such and would gladly do it again. I'm wondering why it took so fucking long between TaiIs and lightning but I can appreciate that things were resolved eventually. My feedback form was like a month ago. I guess you all were busy with other shit in the meantime and that's perfectly understandable because I'm a patient person in that regard... but I do understand how others are not so patient. It is what it is I guess... but the ends tend to justify the means and I am perfectly content with these ends, so --- I do not receive notifications, so using the @ feature will not do anything. Sorry, but I really think you are only half right here. And I think you may be letting your personal views get in the way of best judgment. That is why I do not think the moderators should be commenting publicly on Tails's ban or past suspensions. On this I will quote Rick Santorum on his interview on Chris Cuomo, where he says, and I'm paraphrasing that there is a big difference between having disagreements on public policy on which there are complex ramifications and treating other people as "other" or lesser. And I think it's wrong to mix the two and say that that person is a bigot, that that person is hostile to other people, personally. Which is the mistake that I think is made on Gamefaqs again and again, including with Tails, and especially on LGBT issues. And I think there has to be a point where people can say such dissents in good faith, somehow, some way. That will never happen when leaders on this website express glee at the banning and suspension of people. That will never happen when the leaders on this website egg on others who cheer the removal of other posters who maybe are a little socially out of place or who do not fit in. Stop calling Tails phobic. He is conservative, extremely conservative, on just about every single social or social justice issue. That does not make him any more, or less, of a bigot than the people who are equally liberal on every social justice issue. That does not make him phobic. Okay? I'm gay myself, and while I definitely feel a great deal of tension toward Tails, who I obviously have interacted with for years, including because of the post in question, there are gradations, there are differences. And I think when we are eager to punish rather than understand, that's where we fall astray. Tails's post in question reads differently when you read it forwards than when you read it backwards. When you read it backwards, it's sinister. When you read it forwards, it looks like it stops short of crossing the line but most people will say it's dog whistle.
