So many companies use it. Facebook, Google, youtube, the list goes on.

It looks so fucking lazy and hideous. Some make it worse than others. Like the old Facebook dating ads, where the characters arms and legs are 5 times the size of their torso and their heads were tiny. Its just so fucking bad.

It's because it's lazy, and cost effective. Nobody values artistic integrity anymore.

People care more, and are tuned into design and aesthetics at a serious level these days.
