It at least has DEX scaling

I've gotten pretty decent at parrying a lot of enemies (never did that stuff before in Dark Souls because i didn't understand it well) and I have some good knives and daggers. But I really missed the crowd control and stagger of a heavy, massive, fuck-you sword. I just think weapons that crush more than slice are cool.

I have a pyromancy fireball (also the first time I've used magic in the series, I was unironically a max STR and health/endurance brainlet in the last two games) but it's not very strong. There's some really interesting sorceries and miracles but you have to invest so many souls to use them.

This is also the third time or so I've played DaSIII, and I've never beating it before. Furthest I got before was Anor Londo before building a new computer and losing that save. Apparently Steam doesn't support cloud save for dark souls.

I hope they actually put bloodborne on pc

I really like the Harald Curved Greatsword. Play unlocked for tracking, and get to know the moveset. Really nasty little bugger. The Iframes on the ground pummel are well...... theyre good. Surprised by this weapon.

This item can only be obtained in the Abyssal Swamp & Earthen Peak areas.

Geez..... other than that I dont think I fell in love with any weapon in particular for DaS3. In 2 I used Crypt Blacksword (Dark), and in one I mained the Halberd. Demons Souls, Kris Blade & Magic, Bloodborne, Holy Moonlight Sword. After that..... er

Sharp infuse a lothric greatsword. Best DEX weapon.

I was a big fan of the Carthus Curved Sword before it got nerfed.

Farron Greatsword is pretty great on a Dex build. Plus the party is nice.

In DaS1 I had no idea what I was doing, crutched with the drakesword for a while. Then I discovered the Zweihander and used that exclusively for the staggering.

In DaSII I used the Halberd.

Man I'm sorry but the Cathedral of the Deep is such a fucking drag. No idea why it saps my energy so bad, but my playthroughs always slow down in this area. Maybe because right before it is an enormous poison swamp preceded by... an enormous non-poison swamp. :/

Every time I try to start a dex build I end up using some bigass heavy weapon. I'm just too impatient. I hate how other weapons feel. Less damage, no stagger. Takes twice as long to beat bosses.

Gimme a bigass sword that does like 1/8th of a boss' health
