I run the crypto board & discord. I live in San Francisco and am as liberal as they come without venturing into "far left" territory.

There also is NOT some secret chat where Tails, Caution, and Shadow congregate. What you see is open. It's a crypto chat w/ social aspects.

If it falls into "anti mod" territory then that's because one of the cornerstones of Blockchain is decentralization. People who preach crypto mostly tend to hate government oversight, and authority in general. Is very anarchist and apolitical.

...but yes, complaining about authority and basic centralized concepts fit in nicely onto any board/chat that discusses decentralization aka cryptocurrency. So that's why it tends to attract likewise discussion.

No, Bullet_Wing literally referred to it as "Shadow's crypto and stock discord" originally and that is what it has been referred to as in the past, so one can only assume that he was in fact the owner of said discord.

I find this a bit confusing. Maybe you run a crypto discord too, different from the crypto discord other people are talking about here, which is run by shadow? It would explain why you'd be so confused at said things being said about your discord, because it about another discord.

Another confusing part is how you appeared here to defend them despite the fact you acknowledge yourself you don't know their posting history other than what you see in your off-gamefaqs interactions with them. It is similar to defending Michael Vick from the dog-fighting comments because you like his football performances: you don't have to hate the guy or join the hate but you don't have to defend him either.

I think there is more than meets the eye here, but I could be wrong.

Shadow made his Crypto discord in my communities behalf. I was it's first admin.

I made a post on one of the site boards asking why my Bitcoin board had been stuck in the approval process for so long. Shadow then sent me a DM saying he was also trying to make one but it kept getting denied. He then suggested I make a discord instead. I told him I didn't know how, but if he made one and my board got approved then I would use it.

That's exactly what happened.

The Michael Vick thing was proven in a court of law. Vick plead guilty. This is just GameFaqs. I'm not just going to take a bunch of users on a videogame forum on hearsay. If those users come out and call themselves supremacists, or if I witness that shit for myself...then that will change my opinion.

Right now this appears to be a witch-hunt to me. I'm not here defending these users, I'm defending my community. That's why I'm here. This topic is basically calling the crypto community a witch.

I know you weren't. I was watching that place. Caution still has main afaik but the other 2 got axed. Tails was one of the most homophobic people I've ever encountered. Shadow celebrated 1/6 though not as much as some others. Caution is mostly just generically trump-supporting uninformed far-right person. He once got his main and alt suspended because the main was warned and he harassed a lead mod or admin to unwarn him. The mod/admin showed up was like "oh you don't want to be warned? Okay, done" and suspended both of his accounts. Caution then admitted on discord that he was so upset by that he puked all over the inside of his car.

Also witch hunts don't exist. Witch pursuit things do... but this is not that.

However I agree with that take. Eventually everyone will be so mixed that race won't matter. The world will probably be better off for it.

I have two children (well, one on the way) one is half black, the other is going to be half Asian. Hopefully in 500 years from now everyone will be so mixed that the concept of race will be obsolete.

I also agree with allowing all viewpoints a chance to speak. Joe Rogan does it all the time, and the crazy ones typically self implode. I just disagree with the moderator taking a stance. We're now at the stage where someone showed you the Vick dog video and you say that Vick clarified his stance and he said he hoped the dogs would play and frolic, if they chose to fight he didn't want it, he clarified exactly what he meant so you don't find it dog fighting.

Notice the switching of stances stero has had.

1- he (shadow) didn't say that, I didn't see it so it never happened
2 - you say it happened but unless you show it to me it never happened
3 - ok you showed it to me but I actually agree with his take and I think his take was ok
