Series is such a terrible name. They could have just skipped 4 like they skipped 9 with Windows and called it Xbox 5. 5X and 5S.

Nah, that's a bit different. For the most part, Nintendo consoles have had different names each time.

I'd be fine if Microsoft just completely changed the name with each console. But that ship has sailed now. Like imagine if they went Xbox > Xbox 360 >Xbox One > Scarlet (that was the codename for Series X). It would throw people off even more lol.

or they could have went with Xbox V just to be on the same 'level' of the PS5, but i guess they f'd up so much that they cant do nintendo's way of naming shit and still be a hit
