Current Events > I think my boss knows I've been sleeping on the job but he won't call me out

So basically my job was desperate to hire someone for third shift when they hired me I accepted the job and even agreed to work 6 days a week to get overtime and they said it would be a huge help and relief for the rest of the staff so they dont have to constantly pick up weekend shifts.

Anyways Basically I do everything Im supposed to do on the shift but this past week Ive been sleeping on the job just to make time pass more quickly.

Anyways Boss man meets with me this morning when my shift is over and asks me if Ive been getting enough sleep at home Also asks me if other people working 3rd shift have been giving me a hard time I told him everything has been great and Ive been getting plenty of sleep (lol).

Ive just been crashing on a couch in one of the buildings I have no idea if there are cameras (I didnt see any) but maybe one of the staff members walked in on me sleeping one night??

Anyways I think he knows but he wont say anything to me because they were glad that I took the job in the first place. I took care of all my responsibilities I just have to be there in case of emergencies

I dont know man I kind of feel bad about sleeping on the clock but at the same time Im probably gonna keep doing it until I get in trouble.

Ehh I work with nurses who are forced to stay up all night If it was one of them that found me sleeping on a couch I could see why they would complain to the boss.

Thats the only reason I feel bad sort of.

My mother was a nurse third-shifter, and she found sneaky ways to sleep on the job. Working third shift really messes with your brain. Humans are not supposed to be nocturnal
