Well, yeah. It can take a lot of mental gymnastics to watch pro wrestling. Lots of names to remember, some real and some made up. Some different where they are in the world.

And then we have all the creative writing that happens in your head that makes you exercise that brain muscle

sport denotes competition, there is no competition in a fixed match. WWE is an exhibition at best, though i'd say its really more of a play.

Given the overall sample is 1000 (a perfectly fine statistical sample on its own), I'm imagining the WWE and Nascar subsets would be somewhat smaller than that, maybe 100 people each. Given the selection bias of this test being administered to people visiting a sports betting website, I'm not sure how much info can be reliably gleaned about the differences between individual fan bases here.

WWE used to be mostly right-wing fans who wanted to see people get beaten up in the ring. Now, I think it's shifted to a younger, predominantly left-wing fanbase who likes to analyze the backstage politics and over-analyze the moves used in the ring.
