Ooo, Ivan is going kinda nuts. Seems those who fail to successfully become Imaginary Numbers lose their mind. But he did take a shot meant for Emma the same as she pushed him out of the way.

He calls them the chosen ones and comments on them being emotional? Yeah, I'm assuming both are Imaginary Numbers but have their emotions. No, Lukav saying that are the key to his future is because they're the last scientists alive that know how to make another Midas.

You are on the right track about the imaginary numbers though. They all have their emotions, but the "failures" are mentally unstable and eventually go insane. For the record, the crazy guy near the beginning of the game, Serov, was also a failed imaginary number.

If you enjoyed it, definitely play the other side too. Only the combat mechanics are the same. You get different characters, at least one new Wanzer, entirely different missions and a much different story for the most part (it's still Lukav behind the scenes).

1 small thing i should mention w/ parts is not every part w/ the same.. benefits upgrades the same.. like say 2 dif arms that give 14% accuracy unupgraded then 1 may give +60% accuracy at lvl 4 and hte other +90 at the same rank.. this applies to HP too and short of a guide no u wouldn't know this w/o testing it urself

For whatever reason, they decided it wasn't popular enough. They never released Front Mission 5 outside of Japan and Left Alive likely sealed the fate of the series, even though it was a weird stealth spinoff.

Narratively wise, it seems the Rebels are being assholes and risking lives just to destroy the government. It's basically mutually assured destruction and when we point that out, the rebels kinda fire us? Whatevs we are going after Alisa anyways.

We got to the embassy and found Alisa... with Lukav and Bal. I guess Bal created Alisa and Emma as Imaginary Numbers. Yuppers. Alisa, Emma, and Lukav. The "best" of the Imaginary Numbers! Except that Lukav is too perfect and turns on Bal, seeing he is pointless to HIS ascension to the top!

"Fester in your own inabilities and die in it, Kazuki. There is nothing else you can do" - Lukav

Lukav takes Emma and Alisa with him and we now have to fight our way out. Oh, and Bal is still alive having run off. Man, why do we always just sit around and do nothing while baddies run around?

Holy shit! We actually kinda stopped Lukav, or at least seemed to. Liu barged through the building and blew up his Wanzer... then we had to kill Liu cause he wanted to murder everyone who was in Mr. Bal's way. Liu tells us to stop Lukav's plans if we can and his Wanzer explodes. We grab Alisa and Emma and get the fuck outta there!

Alisa still being a total bitch to Emma.

Ohhh man, that is an awesome Wanzer. I have missiles, a shield, and a fist weapon now for PC.

Upgrading everyone else and foregone items to have a shield on everyone.

Have you tried the weapon it comes with? The AP cost is high, but if AP -0 from the Hoshun triggers, it's a huge damage attack at no cost.
