Stamp went from 0 to 12 nominations with 6 doubles, entirely from people whose participation is at best described as minimal, in under three minutes in the dead of the night. I fail to see how it could be anything but rallying, regardless of whether or not anyone was explicitly asked.

There's a 2nd, different Stamp you can briefly see on a chip bag in the part of the ending sequence where it's first revealed that Zack survives rather than dying in battle. Instead of a Beagle he's like a Terrier or something. This is the central linchpin in "Zack is alive in a parallel universe" theory.

Uh it's not the lynchpin after Intergrade. It's flat out shown.

Well it depends on your definition of rallying then.

If you mean a single person asking a bunch of people to vote for a character... then that absolutely didn't happen.

If you mean people coming together to support something they believe in, then sure.

But then you'd have to ban any character/user that gets more than 1 person supporting them. Any time a character gets more than 1 unique votes is counted as "Rallying". They are technically coming together to support something.

This happens every contest, people coming together to support their GUY or GAL or sometimes... THING.

You have, but I would also think anyone starting at the literal beginning of a contest would be allowed in, even if they were from like the Pikmen 3 board. I get not just letting ransoms in once weve started, but not before. JMO.

On the basest level, Stamp is the mascot for Shinra. He's like a Rosie the Riveter or something. Which I think would count under normal circumstances.

historically I thought that's been the main qualifier apart from existing in Final Fantasy media, with the only exception being a playable character (you don't have to speak if playable)

Also, getting back to the topic of RALLYING.

I want to bring up an example:

Many times people will lose their final favorite character in Save My Favorite Final Fantasy Character, and they don't know if they want to continue or not... and many people will try and sway them, or say they should join their character, often times working, and said person will join their side. That is 100% more rallying than what's going on with Stamp.
