Ive been thinking about trying to get really good at a game like that for fun. I dont know what the popular/best ones are though. Having an active esports scene means I can watch tape on the universally recognized best players to learn advance stuff.

Yea this is kinda random. Ive just been itching to try some things like that out. Give me some names

You need both. Apm and strategy.

If you want 1vs1 esports without APM then you've got exactly 2 options. Hearthstone and Pokemon.

well damn that sucks. I thought there will be more options. I feel like the apm requirement might hold me back at some point. Im sure I can go pretty fast but Im in my 30s now. Im sure Ive slowed down.

Maybe I can actually try to be competitive in Pokemon. Do they have a latter system and stuff now in the actual game?

The competitive scene is separate from the main game entirely. There's all kinds of extra rules and tiers which are kind of like weight classes in boxing that have to be adhered to. Your best bet is checking a competitive Pokemon subreddit or specialized forum.

Man sounds complicated and interesting. I swear I heard something about a latter system in game with the ranks based around different poke balls though
