I really hate stand in specific spot to make a symbol to open something puzzles and there doesn't appear to be a ton of actual gameplay. Not gonna say it's a bad game im sure it's great for those who like it. Gonna give it a bit more before i shelf it.

I think its more that it is for gamers that maybe play games for experiences and escapism in addition to just challenge

People play games for different reasons and thats okay. Sometimes I wanna play some tough as nails competitive game but also sometimes I want to control a character just enough to guide them through an immersive narrative.

youre telling me when you rip one on a cold day under a heavy blanket, you dont lift it up just to get a sense of whats going down? When nobody else is around?

I enjoyed the game, but some of those "look at the symbol" puzzles were annoyingly obtuse.

I honestly think it helps a lot if you stop thinking of it as a game entirely and think of it more like an attempt at interactive art.

That's true of a lot of the artsier pretentious indie game genre of "art games", but some manage the balance between attempting to make an artsy game and just making art with a game halfassedly shoved in better than others.
