I have the perception though that Lamborghini is more of a status symbol and Ferrari is just as expensive if not more but you are getting your moneys worth under the hood

Between just those two, I'd probably go Lamborghini over Ferrari, but to be honest I'm not a fan of Italian sportscars as much as I lean more towards Germania - Porsche was always my default go-to for high-end cars. Though I could just as easily lean a bit lower and closer to home and go with something like the Dodge Viper or even a Chevy Corvette.

Or to put things in GTA terms, I never bothered buying a Cheetah (Ferrari), Infernus (Lambo), Zentorno (ditto), or an Adder (Bugatti Veyron), but I did buy a Banshee (Viper), an Entity (Koenigsegg), an 811 (Porsche), the T20 (McLaren), the X-80 (Ferrari F80), and a Nero (Bugatti Chiron). Though I've also got multiple luxury cars (basically the BMW and Audi duplicates). And a Tornado custom ('57 Chevy). I had tons of other cards, but those were basically my go-to rides. Along with my Tron bike.

I generally judge cars more on look than performance, though. Mostly because I live somewhere where I'd never be able to get the vehicle up to a fraction of its potential top speed on open roads, and at that point all that extra power mostly just feels like a waste.

Ferrari makes better driving cars, Lambo makes better super cars.

Nobody does super car better than Lambo, but loads of companies outdrive Ferrari, so Lambo wins.
