My back has had less issues since switching --- If you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all. Preferably ergonomic ones that prevent muscle tearing from prolonged use. If you have the money, go for an executive office chair, but avoid leather because it doesn't "breath" in the summer. I spent $500 on my ergonomic chair from Office Depot and have never looked back. It's super comfortable and feels really good on my lower back and it's made of good quality; I prefer it over my couch.
