Judge Michael Bohren has ordered the RELEASE of 19 y/o Slenderman Stabber, Anissa Weiner from PRISON after she was convicted of attempted MURDER in 2014 when she and another friend, Morgan Geyser lured a classmate into the woods and stabbed her repeatedly in a bid to please "Slender Man"

She asked the judge this year to release her from Winnebago Mental Health Institute arguing she was no longer a threat to society

He agreed and gave the go ahead and though she won't be released immediately he gave the state to prepare a release plan within the next 60 days

Payton Leutner was lured into Waukesha Park following a sleepover and Geyser stabbed Leutner multiple times as Weier encourged Geyser to inflict injuries.

All 3 were 12 at the time

Leutner barely survived after walking in the woods and into a road where fortunately a passerby spotted her and brought her to a hospital

The 2 heifers said they stabbed her because they thought Slender Man was real and attacking Leutner would make them his servants and keep him from killing their families

Weier plead guilty to second degree intentional homicide but a jury found her not criminally responsible due to a mental disease although her father claimed she had NO mental illnesses but psychologists said she suffers from delusional disorder

She is not on any psychotic medications ad her father said she can stay with him when she's out as she hopes to get a job to support herself

She was originally sentenced to 25 YEARS but Weier petitioned for a conditional release stating she exhausted all her options for treatment and needed to rejoin society

Prosecutors said she was dangerous and would have a hard time making friends outside the institution leading her to associate with mentally disturbed people

Geyers plead guilty to first degree attempted homicide and in 2017 was found guilty by reason of insanity and was sentenced to 40 years and will be 55 when she is out

So the one getting out is the manipulated one? I saw a tv movie about this case and one girl basically thought it all up. The other girl never would have done this if she hadn't met the first girl

If she has improved in her therapy and she keeps in contact I guess it's OK. Though there was an episode of SVU where a child that killed demonstrated success in therapy and was released.......and then he went on a murder spree and they said he had been pretending to get better to fool the doctors

If she's been rehabilitated, yeah, give her a second chance. She'll still has to live with what she did, but maybe now she can do some good in the world with the second chance.

She was an accessory and is very young, she absolutely deserves a shot.
The other girl is probably in jail too long too.

There was a 14 year old black boy that got framed for murder and sent to the electric chair almost a hundred years ago

I hope people at least give her an attempt to rejoin society. It could end up one those situations where people are so unforgiving that if she is rehabilitated, they will do everything in their power to try to undo it. Like most people, how she's treated by society will end up a huge factor. Hopefully she was givin the advice to stay away from social media.

James Bulger. He was lured away from a shopping centre and murdered by two 10 year olds, Robert Thompson and Jon Venables.

Thompson appears to have kept his head down since being released, but Venables has had a lot of issues. He's on a second stint in prison for child pornography.

Geyser isn't in prison but in a psychiatric hospital right? She had legit schizophrenia? I'm trying to remember the doc or whatever I saw that dealt with this.

40 years seems insane considering she was only 12 and the girl didn't die. I mean adults who actually commit murder and with the intent to commit murder don't usually get 40 years.

I don't understand why one got 40 years though and the other only 25. Didn't they both stab the third girl?

Because she has an illness she can probably get disability. So the taxpayers will be supporting her the rest of her life, I doubt she'll actually have to work. I'd actually be amazed if she doesn't get a book deal out of it and live well the rest of her life.

Maybe I'm swayed by the documentaries on this I've seen, but she really did come across as someone who needed psychological help more than just doing time for her crime. Even in her interrogations, she just seemed disconnected or out of it.

She shouldn't be doing life and hopefully she can get the help she needs and go on to live a somewhat normal life being rehabilitated?

I wouldn't be so easy on her had the victim not survived.
