Both gens of Niji EN seem so happy and cute and interesting. How come I've looked through all of Niji JP and found exactly none who fit that? There's too many dudes in Niji JP. Too many uninteresting characters. I think that's why I love Hololive better. Not just because it's all girls, but because everyone is too interesting.

FFL SELeCT Cup currently live. It's a global invitational with teams that are 1 streamer and 2 pros with all the streamers being master rank or somewhere around.

Matsuri has a team, so does Kanae, Kuzuha, and Chihiro from Niji and the likes of VGorilla, AlphaAzur, playing with nutty teams like 2 of the members from America's TSM (no ImperialHAL though) and Europe's Genburten, who I saw for the first time just now and am basically a fan. This guy is mega cracked. There are also korean players from T1 and such. Nobody from CR though, because they have their own tournament going on at the same time.

Kinda wish I got to see Astel here. He's pretty much good enough to be a pro, and it'd be cool to see what he does with 2 actual pros that may or may not be better than him.

Yeah, it's a pretty specific combination. Think she's the only one that has that specific set amongst the indies that I know of.

the one with like 7 languages listed or whatever? I'm not really curious who she is since I'd be very unlikely to recognize her anyway but would you happento know what her first language is? her english has weird mistakes here and there that I tend to associate with ESL but neither her french nor japanese seem good enough to be first language either, not that she said much in them. maybe it's just a case of learning too many languages making you forget others lol

She never really spoke about it, but I would wager that she's probably primarily Japanese as she was exclusively a JP VTuber in the beginning. That I know of anyway. It seems likely that she traveled a lot from what little tidbits I got. Only watched her for about 3 months before her graduation though as I just happened upon her by looking up something on Tekken and she was streaming it.

I really like the penguin the best.

20 restoration attempts failed, recovered her OS alone, can't verify her backup account to restore everything but she can at least access everything important, apparently.

Irys still has like 7k people in even if a nonzero number of those are probably running both at once. That's pretty standard for HoloEN streams that aren't, like, hugely anticipated things like Ina's art, Gura in general, Calli-oke, Ame doin' something weird, or Kiara hitting the sims again.

I ended up falling into a deep hole after looking up that channel. Like I had already seen things like that before, but one thing led to another and I'm reading some real nasty comments on vtubers' real life selves. I know it's the internet and there are some real bitter assholes out there, but these people need to chill out and learn to just enjoy the entertaining anime avatars.

I've seen a few videos that are like, japanese girl in thumbnail + uploaded years ago + random vague nothing title that I'm pretty sure are vtubers but you can't really be certain unless you watch them
