Skate 2 & 3. I would just pound players online. And in the team efforts where you have a checklist of things to do, I'd knock out 8 or 9 of them in one line on my first run and the game would be over in seconds.

Hydro Thunder,Dance Dance Revolution,pretty much any old school arcade game. Spending a lot of years at an arcade, I played a lot of different games and got good at them.

I can't think of anything that I'd be able to hold my own in against great players. I was pretty decent at Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution. Got decent at Capcom vs SNK 2 as well.

Goldeneye 007 for the N64 now that I think about it. You HAVE to be an expert at that game in order to 100% it. I've 100%'d it, so I'm an expert at it.

I was a helluva pilot in Battlefield 3. Great times.

I was in the top 5 in all categories on the Prince of Persia Classic leaderboards back in 2007-2008. I had the #2 spot in survival mode too. So that's probably the best I was at a game at a given time.

Not on a world class level or anything but im always the guy that wins mario kart and I beat nightmare king grimm on hollow knight.

That first one is the legacy of pretty much every gamer who has normie friends though

This reminds me of my 10-game win streak at the bowling alley on Mortal Kombat 2! I wouldnt say I was good but I was better than the casuals that day. I didnt try to win my spot back afterwards cuz I was kind of satisfied with that win streakat the bowling alley

I lost a tournament in sudden death at the final round at one the release day GameStop events thingies. It's why I'm a bum now. That was gonna turn it all around. Now, I can't even look at my stupid disgrace of a face in the mirror. All my friends lost respect for me and I found out my gf was sleeping with the guy who beat me in that final round. Then I tried to sleep with his gf and she got me to show up naked to her house while everyone else was there. Even my gf. Apparently my gf and his gf bonded over the idea of humiliating me.

The tournament part is actually real tho. And also I am kind of a bum.

Modern games are for the most part designed specifically to make the player think he/she's good. So if any of the games mentioned are from 2010 onwards then the honest answer should have been "No".
