Yuna is only good because of Yojimbo cheese. Wakka and Tidus have the strongest overdrives by far and you should only be quick hitting then unleashing overdrives in postgame anyways.

This includes story as well

If its just post-game, Yuna is the 4th best because her attack animation is fast

all the characters are perfectly fine throughout the mainstory.

rikku is absolutely terrible unless you grind her. if anything, kimarhi is far superiro in the story than rikku becuase he can just start her grid before her

rikku is only good with pwoer farming, which is completely unnecessary in ffx

There is more to the game than the postgame.

That's like saying there's more to Disgaea than the postgame. It simply isn't true, most of FFX's content is postgame unless you're playing the derp original release.

ok that's completely irrelevant to what I said. playing the game solo than using broken item combos that you farmed in the calm lands that took longer to get than just plainly levleing up isn't a measure of skill, or really any form of creativity

Yuna, Auron, Tidus, and Wakka are completely, utterly busted in the main story. Auron has too much HP and trivializes any boss fights because healing potions are too powerful. Tidus is just broken becuase haste is broken, and wakka does absurd damage with 100% accuracy

Its awful.

Rikku is absurdly fast. She has so many more turns than everyone else. You dont need to farm rare items for her overdrive to be bonkers. Just casually steal here and there and the items she gets makes her the most valuable asset in your party. She outclasses yuna as a healer once you get to the desert and get those OP potions

who the fuck cares when you just caste haste + cheer on auron 4x and become impossible to kill up to kill except like evrae and braska's final aeon

She's also the only character you need a guide for to use effectively. Everyone else you can just follow there path on the sphere grid.

Not everyone considers spamming attack and curaga to be playing normally. Rikku is by far the most OP character if you put even a small amount of effort into using her properly.
if all you want to do is just trade blows until someone dies, I can see why you think Auron is the best

Why does Kimahri suck?

Because the natural thing to do with him is make him a worse version of someone else. If you use him right* he'll be your best character from midgame to endgame. Postgame is a different story, but character power levels for postgame work on entirely different bases than character power levels for main storyline play.

*: there are multiple L2 locks near the beginning of grids that cut into the end portion of another character's grids. Kimahri can easily take advantage of one of these to skip to endgame stat boosts and skills as soon as you gain a L2 key sphere, and from there it's very easy to bounce him around to other endgame grid areas. Holding back the other characters to cut through these locks isn't as attractive as it might be since most grids connect into grids that favor entirely different stat lines, but Kimahri has the base stats to go with any of the powerful options. I favor Rikku -> Yuna because a second character with Steal and Use adds a lot of utility while you wait to amp Kimahri's magic power and give him Holy (and thanks to Lancet, Kimahri can easily sustain Holy spam). Wakku -> Lulu and early tier 3 spells or Tidus -> Auron for massive strength and maybe early Mental/Armor Break are also great options. You can also go Lulu -> Rikku but her endgame is easily the weakest so the other choices seem better. Yuna -> Tidus for early Quick Hit is of course also awesome, but that one costs two L2 key spheres whereas the others only need one (plus a L1 key sphere).

Pretty much only America didnt get it. Everywhere else in the world got it.

theres the entire monster arena which has tons of bosses, a lot of which are stronger than the final boss
theres the dark aeons, each of which is a super boss you need extremely high or max stats to beat
theres penance which is very difficult even with max stats

basically the entire world got FFX Final Mix Golden Royal but America only got the base edition

I just bought it on steam and have yet to install it
