Current Events > man, this Persona 5 game... fucking rules!

coming from someone who barely has the patience to sit through an RPG (specially ones with turn based combat), i can't help but feel immersed in this game's universe! living the experience of a japanese high school student and battling shadows of corrupted adults is fun as heck!

not to mention the visuals are gorgeous and colourful to look at and the soundtrack is pretty sweet! can see why people love this game!

Yeah 5 Royal was my first time with the series and I loved it, despite really thinking I wouldnt.

I read that the social links were changed to be largely more useful all around. Another thing I read thats totally wild is that the vanilla version only lets you use guns once per dungeon run rather than once per battle.

Not insanely different, but well worth it as your first playthrough.

A new "semester"
A frankly absurd amount of QoL changes
New music
New Areas
New confidants

It's rly good. I've put probably 250 odd hours into P5/R and about 115 of that is royal.

that's alright, i probably would have used magic attacks more had i played that version anyway... lol

Not all turn based games are equal. In personal 5 royal its just so fun hitting weaknesses and then baton passing to your teammate to keep the chain going.

Game makes you feel smart because sp is hard to come by and hitting those weaknesses is nessesary to complete the dungeon in 1 day.
