I don't know what it was called as it's been 20 or so years. Once tried some drink from Japan on offer in the Atlanta Coca Cola museum/place.

It was honey and lemon with possibly something else. I was not prepared. It was exactly like some medicine I had months prior and still haunts me.

Bought a cheap drink to go with a Chinese smorgasbord meal from a little takeaway mall.

IIRC, it was supposed to be green tea and peach flavoured.

It tasted the way I imagine it would taste if you picked up all the old popcorn on the floor of a cinema and then squeezed it until liquid came out. And it smelt like feet.

I was thirsty enough to take a few big swigs before I just couldn't take it anymore. My breath stank for hours.

Probably because they have very little sugar unlike the average energy drink. I'd much rather drink a 5 hour than Red Bull which is fucking disgusting to me. Hell, the only energy drinks I can at least somewhat enjoy are the coffee-flavored ones.
