Did the combat age well? No, but for its time it was incredible. No random encounters. Chrono Cross does a lot right but also does some things really badly. Super Mario RPG isn't a masterpiece like Chrono Trigger, but it only has minor flaws at most. And Breath of the Wild is the most overrated game of all time.
