Easy, ask them for pics or talk to them via phone or video call and just agree to meet at a public place first. Also, before you even worry about getting jumped, worry about getting scammed first. Scammers would rather steal your money online than meet you in person and steal your wallet. Some are obvious like asking you to pay deposit money upfront (lol "escorts") before meeting you. But others are slick. if anyone ever asks for your phone number and a verification code from your phone number and/or email, know that they are are trying to hack into your account and change your profile to theirs and have people add them on a 3rd party site and talk to them on snapchat.. This literally happened to me a month ago on tinder. My account even got banned when I tried to verify and I had to talk to tech support and close my account and make a new one. --- Less is more.
