I don't like my wife being a companion. That way I can go for weeks without returning home, with the marriage slowly falling apart and my kids growing distant, viewing me as little more than the guy who bring them gifts on occasion.

It's how I explain how stilted and hollow all the in-game dialog is with your family.

Uhh, racemenu, skyui, better bodies, schlongs if you're into that kind of thing, Ordinator if you want a much different approach to perks, one of the magic mods (warmage or something like that, can't recall). You'll need script extender and FNIS as well, werewolf or vampire mods of your choice, and idk what else off the top of my head.

I preferred to wait until they wanted to keep a skeever as a pet. I said yes, then killed it in front of them. Sent them to live in a house out in the marshes that I never visited again.

Rather than a wife I usually end up keeping Jenassa around as a shadow. She's decently stealthy, great with a bow, is one of the few classes to dual wield by default, and the 50% fire resistance isn't bad.

Have decided I will purge the land of all non-people, so Khajiit and Argonians.
