I pre-order Super Robot Wars 30 on steam. It's seems unreal that after so long of having to deal with garbage import sites and inflated prices I can finally buy a SRW game for my intented platform without jumping through hoops.

Probably the first game I pre-ordered in 10+ years.

I'm in the same boat, but I did it with the Switch OLED because I never picked up a normal one after waiting for the inevitable upgrade, and not preordering it now probably meant not getting it for an entire year or more.

So like, extreme circumstances are the only reason that could compel me to consider a pre-order. I've been buying up a Switch library at $30-$40 a game as opposed to the $60 they used to be. I did the exact same thing with the 3ds... Waited for the 3DS XL and then bought up a bunch of games at $15-25. The difference was it wasn't going to be an immediate, permanent sellout like this one.

Pre-ordering just seems like a way to burn money to get a product a little bit faster, but the Switch itself never goes on sale anyway. Like, everyone's Black Friday "doorbuster" every year.. Is just a Switch at it's full, everyday price.
