Theres abilities they had in Shippuden thats never used in Boruto. The movie, The Last had Naruto flying around Goku style, him shooting a rasenbeam, and Sasuke destroying a big ass boulder casually. The Boruto series, there's that chapter Kurama calls out Naruto for being out of practice, and the only improvements we see out of him is Kurama being more free, and the Kamikaze Kurama form. Sasuke didn't improve any of the 6 paths powers, and only improve his teleporting power....barely. Not to mention the scale of destruction in the original series was massively greater. The Boruto series, there's that chapter Kurama calls out Naruto for being out of practice, and the only improvements we see out of him is Kurama being more free, and the Kamikaze Kurama form.
