I'm pretty intrigued tbh. You don't get pigeon-holed like you do with other handhelds where a new console comes out and you're screwed because it uses a different cartridge or whatever (jailbreaking notwithstanding). There will be new games on Steam that this thing will be able to play because not every new game on Steam pushes the limit on performance.
But having a Steam controller has made me wary about the controls, especially the trackpad. I'd have to see someone play Civ or some other mouse intensive game with the pads.
