I once saw all the movies when I was a little little kid, but by now I only remember footage from The Phantom Menace and The Force Awakens. The rest of the movies I know the story from the LEGO games.

I'm pretty unspoiled on The Last Jedi except that Luke dies. I know TROS sucks.

I'm actually curious to see what a non-fan would think of the film.

The only other person I know of who did that enjoyed the movie a ton.

I'm in the "it's a pretty good movie" camp.

I'm also one of the nerds that hates the lore of the sequel trilogy. But divorced from the general SW canon, I like 8 a lot but more on a "meta" narrative level if that makes sense. I would recommend watching 7 beforehand because in some ways I feel 8 is a rejection of what 7 stood for, but I think 7 is a pretty mediocre movie.

I'm not a star wars fan and I really didn't like the movie.

It's just fucking boring to watch. Finn and Poe are completely wasted/ruined and it's just a generally miserable experience.

Nah, it's super boring. The only good parts are things fans would appreciate, so it would probably be even more boring for you.

Check other stuff out instead.
