I think I was able to get around that by going to the episode list to read the synopsis. I feel like I just kept switching between highlighting different episodes so that one wouldn't play automatically after a while. Yeah, it doesn't happen on every device (like Roku Premiere), but it does happen on Roku Ultra (just purchased one last week), which has an HDR on mode, which is awesome. I get around the issue by exiting the video immediately.
