The Switch is popular because it's Nintendo rather than just being a portable gaming machine. PC gamers tend to really focus on desktops because the entire culture of it revolves around modular nature, and it doesn't seem like portability is something theyve ever been concerned with. I feel like the small group who do already have a gaming laptop. I think it'll sell okay, but I don't think it's going to have the kind of cultural sway as a real console launch. To answer TC's question, yeah it absolutely looks worth the price lol. Especially since I have lots of experience with these level chips and they're not very good, more because PC games don't scale down that well. For me, it's just the novelty of a handheld Windows machine. With my setup, I already stream my PC and PS4/PS5 almost flawlessly to my S20 and use a Razer Kishi to make it a PS5 level Switch. For people that like portability, but also like AAA gaming but don't want to deal with the hardware complications of PC, it's perfect. It's also for the hardcore steam gamers that want to game on the go.
