Walking my dog, observing the real world and listening to music at the same time fill out the experience. And talking with others at locations use to be what filled out the experience before that. Most people play mobile games while watching tv or something. I play Pokemon Go during loading screen of console games once in awhile when I'm just cleaning it up.
