Do we know if people think they successfully pulled off some of the "meta" stuff on the Switch?

looking at steamcharts, it looks like it's already fallen to about a tenth its launch player counts and the free version's comfortably over it again. obviously being on the platform that has to compete with the free version doesn't help but also being the definitive edition among them purely for that meta stuff, it's probably a sign that its sales are starting to drop off considerably

Almost every game sells best in its first week, particularly sequels. Even if it never sold another copy again, the 500K number would still be great.

Good for Team Salvato! The game deserves it. That sounds like a pretty good number for a VN, though I don't know how it actually is in comparison to similar games.

just that it's probably not going to have legs to get to 1 mil players, which some might've potentially expected based on how many played the original. also just that it's been dropping off a fair bit harder than average
