Thought they couldn't pass bills because the Democrats ran off to Washington so they couldn't pass that voting restrictions bill.

Why is Texas going full-on White supremacist all of a sudden?
Trump has made this the norm. There is now a 40% of the country who are white supremecist and pro-facist. Arm yourself. You'll need it when these psychos ramp up their terrorism.

That shit right there is why I don't respect the "founding fathers".

They were still fine with Black people being considered lesser.

Ah, the commonly misunderstood 3/5ths compromise rears its head. Ironic considered this is a topic about people not being properly taught history.

I don't get how you can argue America wasn't rooted in racism.

The founders owned slaves and were white supremacists.

If you want to go further back to the Pilgrims, persecution was the name of their game

America infastructure was literally built on slave labor, there was a literal civil war over whether slavery is bad. Segregation wasn't ended until 1968

America having racist history isn't a left wing liberal biased lie. It's just history

If you met near enough anyone in America from 1776, they would abolutely horrify you with their beliefs or attitudes.

You should accept that attitudes and times change, but not lie about or defend it

Yet nobody blames Britain for supplying us with those slaves. If you busted up a drug ring, would you go after the people that buy the drugs or the people that supply the drugs? Then why does Britain always get a pass when it comes to America holding itself accountable for racism?

https://www.theusconstitution.org/news/understanding-the-three-fifths-compromise/

Counting the whole number of slaves benefited the Southern states and reinforced the institution of slavery. Minimizing the percentage of the slave population counted for apportionment reduced the political power of slaveholding states.

The republicans in control are scared their time is up. Texas has been slowly turning blue for a while now and soon no amount of gerrymandering will be enough.
