...but here I am with a fully charged PS5 controller at like 2pm, only to find it's down to one bar.

With as much as I game, one pair of AA batteries would last me at LEAST a week (and that's like, if I played 8 hours a day for each of those days). But one charge on the PS5 controller might not even last a full day?

What's the point of rechargeable if you basically have to have a controller rotation if you want to game for extended periods of time?

It's a sick controller though

Your battery wasnt full then. My Dualsense lasts for hours, and hours. Only charge it while I sleep, and its never died on me more than a couple times.

Dualsense battery life is 4-8 hours. If he's playing something like Astrobot's Playroom it's on the lower end.

Yeah Dualsense battery life is pretty meh, there are people who get 3~ hours on Returnal too.

It should have been replaceable, they could have easily made it the same form factor but had covers like phones back then.
