They survived until 30 is why TC. These are Reddit veterans, respect their right to joke. It's the only way they can block out the screams of their comrades who didn't make it. The Reddit wars were brutal. Almost as bad as the Gamefaqs wars.

I wouldn't say it's strictly a redditor problem. Self-deprecating humor is everywhere. I don't quite get it, honestly. You keep jokingly putting yourself down in public and you are eventually prone to believe it. I've seen it firsthand with family members who spend way too much time joking about their faults excessively and have seen their confidence in themselves fall over time.

And not just with this but in general reddit tends to sameify comments. Like go into two different threads at two different times about the same thing and it's always different people saying the exact same thing.

Also you can injure yourself without being out of shape.

Bad genetics, the effects of medication, drunken uncoordination, bad terrain, bad luck, poor sleep, poor lifting form etc.

That said yeah some of them are obese lazy wimps yeah.
