While I haven't played this game specifically, I'm familiar with the concept and I absolutely agree that 'skipping the grind' is a pay to win mechanic.

Let's say it takes X amount of time of normal gameplay to achieve what can be done instantly by throwing money at it. During that time the paying player will have had an advantage, and racked up more wins than the F2P player. Those wins will usually reward the player even more; with exp points, with items and ingame currencies that aren't buyable, or by unlocking higher tiers faster that give even more rewards, etc. Even if a F2P catches up after X time to where the paying player started, there will still be a lead that's not easily overcome.

Secondly, these sort of games get updated over time with stronger characters and items to unlock, making sure the F2P's grind is never over. Whenever they get close to catching up, the finish line just keeps extending. So even when all content is technically available to every player, those who don't pay will always be at a disadvantage.

Depends on the COD. In Warzone, leveling up EXP literally gives you nothing of value other than a higher level number. No better guns, attachment, or anything. So if that's what we're talking about, then technically it's not.

These are single player games -- sure technically it's pay2win, but I don't really know who's getting angry at a totally unrelated person playing an unrelated game that will never affect you at all.

Buying those items is technically pay2win but you aren't playing against anyone so there's really no reason to try shoehorning this in.

Seems like Float Stone is a must for every Pokemon, and I've been using that and the Muscle Band for extra attack speed / movement speed. Pretty ridiculous they put this stuff behind P2W mechanics when any other MOBA would have a store, but it is what it is.
