I think if you want to go off and have the college experience, you should pay for a good portion of that party. Get more 4 year degrees at community colleges. A post-high school education can be done reasonably affordably, it just doesn't include brand new world class facilities, 50 sports teams, amazing dorms, etc. Average community college student in washington gets I think 40% of the funds as a UW/WSU/CWU/WWU/EWU student. I'm all for making student debt absolvable by bankruptcy and removing federally guranteed loans to lenders. It'll never happen, but I'd support it.
