I dont doubt it, Pathfinder seems to have a lot of flexibility in terms of builds but I cant say I really understand everything as far as effective multi/dual classing between races and classes.

But as far as surface observations go, yeah it seems like Pathfinder offers flexibility >_>

Each has their pros and cons. I'm good with either game. Or 4e, although no one really wants to play that.

I agree but only because I like writing stories and roleplay. Pathfinder feels like its there to poke holes into that. 5e is amazing in that sense. Sure there's many things that make Pathfinder better, especially classes, but I get more out of 5e. Its easier to bend.

Never played 4. Seems like just way too much. I like my games to be snappy and quick when I dm

I honestly don't care much for either. Give me 4th, but since that's a damn pipe dream I guess I'll take 5th and be grumpy about it.

A well run pathfinder campaign is just marvelous fun.

5e with some homebrew that pulls ideas from other editions offers the best of both, IMO.

E.g. in 5e consumable prices are terrible-- absolutely ridiculous-- whereas Pathfinder has fun subclasses like the Grenadier Alchemist which crafts a certain number of bombs per day just by existing. 5e at least made an attempt to later correct that with the Artificer class; and the Artillerist is definitely fun to play.
