Didnt he once do an episode of Family Guy guest starring Rush Limbaugh and made him look like a reasonable man?

Family Guy definately improved over their preachy and shock value seasons. But they still have a bad habit on stretching those cutaway gags, it's especially bad when you either don't get the reference or you get it but it's not very funny. With that said, the newer seasons are pretty solid but still does have its issues.

Fair enough. It's actually the constant jokes about Joe being handicapped that rub me the wrong way the most. Especially when you took him from being a likable hero to a blubbering useless annoying mess. The shows not deep enough to have any reason other than they enjoyed making those jokes more. But they must be hittin for someone.

I can't imagine that that would be anywhere near possible. That would basically have to be Fox's call, wouldn't it?

i wonder if seth could take this to court because fox is damaging the reputation of his brand

So no more Family Guy on Hulu then, since Disney owns all three of them.

Disney doesn't Own Fox News. If his problem is with Fox news I'm sure Disney can find a away to keep Family Guy and remove the fox label.

They would change the Fox label to whatever network they go to. If they go to Netflix (or another streaming service not named Hulu), they would obviously leave Hulu, so there's that possibility.

Seth has no issue with Disney as they don't own Fox News or Fox Broadcast Network. And Disney basically has removed all of the Fox labeling from their acquisition. 20th Century Fox Television, Family Guy's production company was renamed to 20th Century Television after the acquisition.

Seth's issue is with the still Murdoch owned Fox Broadcast and Fox News channels, which they have no control over. Fox renewed its licensing of Family Guy through the 22-23 season. Which means that Disney cannot pull FG off of the channel before then without breaching the contract and owing Fox money, which they probably won't do just because Seth wants it.

Dis topic reminds me, I need to start watching The Orville again. I liked the first season, but fell off because I didnt have Hulu at the time. Ill probably just start over from the beginning.

How is current family guy? I stopped watching when they decide to to be needlessly gory and violent for no reason.
it's pretty weird now
it's much more akin to some sort of weird self-parody show that constantly makes fun of itself and its characters
it's been a lot more experimental with episode styles and generally isn't nearly as edgy as it was becoming with seasons 4 and 5 and stuff

i'd say the latest season is a slight improvement over what came before, but it's not really saying much
