The airline industry, obviously. See, if the earth is flat, they use more fuel flying from Peru to Australia, but by maintaining the round-earth conspiracy they can charge more for fuel by using more fuel than they would in a round-earth scenario, because...well, see, in conjunction with Big Pharma and the Saucer People, they manage to...*aneurysm*

I think I once saw somebody say it's so that the government (or elites or whatever) want us to not even trust our own eyes without their "narrative."
