I was driving to the store for some groceries and had a whole group of straight-piped shitboxes surround me at a light. It was hanging on red for a good while so everyone just started revving, as if trying to appease some traffic god for a light change, and it was just some of the worst shit ever. I had my windows up and could still feel and hear the drone of their exhaust in my own interior.

I get wanting to get a little more sound or rumble out of your engine, I myself have replaced the mid-mufflers on my own car for a deeper tone, but I make it a point to never get something that makes hollow, or raspy engine noises. Almost sounded like something was broken on their rides.

Boomer rant over. Just get some good mufflers if you're trying to get a better exhaust note please. Thanks.

Guess they don't realize it will roast the exhaust valves which will shear off fall inside and trash the engine within 5 to 10 thousand miles. Can't have all that hot air free-flowing like that.

I especially hate when they intentionally rev up the engines beneath overpasses/bridges so it creates this eardrum-shattering reverberation.
