He said that "extreme stress" caused him to have an isolated episode of mania with psychotic features in the classroom when he went postal on a male teen for some reason before kneeing him in his balls He said he was trying to make a point about "mental health" and the need for people to be kinder to one another for their actions He has a brief court appearance on Aug 16 and said that he does not know how the surrender of his teaching license or his mental health will affect the case as he faces 3 misdemeanor criminal charges of battery.
